History

Following a successful bid in an international tender in Kazan, Tatarstan, at the end of 2004, International Dialysis Centres signed a long-term contract with the Local Government for the construction and operation of a large dialysis centre in the Republican Clinic in Kazan. In August 2005, the centre was opened by the President of Tatarstan and has the capacity to serve 200 dialysis patients.

In January 2006, the company purchased the shares of the largest dialysis centre in Russia, the Moscow Hospital no. 20 Dialysis Centre that treats 360 patients, as well as the Kolomna Dialysis Centre with its 120 patient’s capacity.

In the forth quarter of 2006, the company developed two additional centres, one in Mytichi with capacity for 140 patients and a second in Saint Petersburg with capacity for 300 patients.

The company opened its sixth centre in April 2008 in the city of Nabevezhyne Chelny in Tatarstan. The centre has capacity for 160 patients and performs over 25,000 treatments annually.

In May 2008, the company opened its seventh dialysis centre in the historic city of Astrakhan located on the shores of the Caspian Sea. The centre treats 60 patients on a regular basis and performs over 9,000 treatments annually.

In June 2008, Euromedic acquired “UNIFARM” dialysis centre located in the city of Krasnogorsk - Moscow Region, Russian Federation. IDC “UNIFARM” currently treats 107 patients on a regular basis and has the capacity to accommodate planned expansion. The centre has 18 haemodialysis machines and with a staff of 23 medical professionals performs over 9,000 treatments annually.

Euromedic is the largest private dialysis service company in Russia, with eight dialysis centres providing services to nearly 1,500 patients.
